Pellet production KPIs

Production KPIs focus on output and process efficiency. Important metrics include tonne-per-hour throughput, press uptime, production yield, and batch consistency. These indicators help managers understand how well the plant converts raw material into finished pellets.

Laboratory KPIs

Laboratory KPIs measure product quality and compliance. Common lab KPIs are ash content, moisture content, bulk density, durability, and particle size distribution. Tracking these values over time helps maintain product quality targets and supports customer or certification requirements.

Energy KPIs

Energy KPIs track the energy consumed per tonne of pellets produced. Useful metrics include kWh per tonne, energy cost per tonne, and specific energy consumption for drying and pelletizing. Reducing energy intensity is a key levers for lowering production costs and improving sustainability.

Quality KPIs
